Biochemical Mechanisms of Essential Cellular Targets
This symposium focuses on new advances in the study of biochemical mechanisms of important protein targets in cells. Mechanistic investigation at the molecular level provides key insights into the function of receptors, enzymes, and many other protein targets in cell physiology and in disease processes. It is highly exciting to witness recent progress in protein mechanism and function elucidation by innovating and applying new experimental and theoretical methodologies. The symposium is concerned with mechanistic aspects of novel protein and enzyme targets including but not limited to metabolic enzymes, epigenetic enzymes, signaling proteins, and sensor proteins. Presentations on the development of novel chemical biology tools for protein mechanism investigation will also be highlighted.
